Your Sam Adams beer could contain glass
According to the Boston Business Journal your 12 oz bottle of Sam Adams could contain glass. Apparently 1 of the 5 glass producers that supplies the Boston Beer Company with bottles has a defect that "might cause small bits of glass to break off and possibly fall into the bottle". Sam Adams is recalling the affected beer even though "the company believes that the number of bottles from this plant that actually contain glass is significantly less than 1 percent, it took this measure to protect the safety of its drinkers". So check your fridge for any SammyA that has "N 35 OI" marked on the bottom. If you do, you may have glass in your beer. We have finally recovered from our whirlwind trip to Philadelphia.
It was an awesome, exhausting, energizing and fun time. Everyone we met in Philly was overwhelmingly friendly and eager to share their city with us.
