Skinner's Dry Goods Tavern is the perfect watering hole. Whether you're looking for some cheap PBR, jonsing for some 9.5% ABV Victory Golden Monkey, or just feeling a lager (around here, that's generic for "Yuengling") they've got it. There are usually seats available, and best of all, they've got some edible bar food - usually ordered after a few Golden Monkeys. Oh - and spring and summer bring the outdoor tables - nothing better than sitting on Market St. with a lager and doing some people-watching.

This is usually the bar i start off with and end up at when spending the night in old city. The one thing that wasn't mentioned in the first description is that the music in there is always on point. From old school hip-hop to more underground rock, Skinners is a break from the pop Bon Jovi and usual Journey music you here everywhere else.
