One of the first of "new" pubs to open in the neighborhood. When it opened it was often called the "Standard Tap South." Years later, it has became an institution itself. Known for its great pub food and casual atmosphere. It is open to people of all backgrounds, but mostly populated by South Philly hipsters.

Great variety in menu from sandwiches to steaks. Beer selection on tap changes but has something for everyone. Food is out quickly with good presentation. Can be packed, but tables open up real quick.
