Bar Noir is a funky, rock n roll driven bar located on 18th street off Rittenhouse Square. If you’re tired of the same dull, repetitive bar scenes and are craving something unique, come check out Bar Noir. Bar Noir’s retro ambiance gives nostalgia of those 70s and 80s rock n roll days you’re longing to go back to. Bar Noir stands alone in being eclectic and fun at the same time! Descend the stairs into the basement style venue offering a distinctive, cool and comfortable atmosphere. The front bar is cabana style, where old-school bar stools and colorful overhang add pizzazz to the scene. The walls are covering in vintage concert flyers of your favorite 70s and 80s punk and rock bands. Colorful Elvis posters catch your eye, reminding you of who started it all. There is ample seating along the walls with tables to relax with friends at. There is also a back bar which offers an alternative vantage point to the cozy room. Daily drink specials draw in a crowd ranging with everyone from local musicians to businessmen to shoppers passing by. Outside seating is available when weather permits.
